Air Fryer Meatballs Recipe

    Table of Contents

    • 1 pound ground beef (or your choice of ground meat)
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 large egg, beaten
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • Cooking spray or oil for spraying the air fryer basket

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten egg, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. You can use your hands for mixing.

Take a small amount of the meat mixture and roll it between your palms to form meatballs. The size of the meatballs is up to your preference, but generally, 1-inch diameter meatballs work well.

Once you’ve formed all the meatballs, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush it with oil to prevent sticking.

Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving a little space between each meatball to allow air to circulate.

Cook the meatballs in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until they are browned and cooked through, flipping halfway through cooking for even browning.

Once the meatballs are cooked through, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Serve the air fryer meatballs hot as a main dish with your favorite sauce or alongside pasta, mashed potatoes, or vegetables. Enjoy!

Note: Cooking time may vary depending on the size and thickness of the meatballs as well as the specific model of your air fryer. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
