Apple Cider Blondies Recipe

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup apple cider
    • 1/2 cup chopped apples (peeled and cored)
    • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
    • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

    Prepare Dry Ingredients:

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon (if using). Set aside.

    Mix Wet Ingredients:

In a separate large bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

    Add Apple Cider and Apples:

Stir in the apple cider until fully incorporated into the batter. Then fold in the chopped apples and nuts (if using), ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Cool and Serve:

Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.

Enjoy these delicious Apple Cider Blondies as a sweet treat with a hint of autumn flavor! They’re perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea on a cozy day.
