Banana Bread with Cake Mix Recipe

    • 1 box (18.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
    • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)


    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, mashed bananas, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated. You can use a hand mixer or mix by hand.

    If you’re adding nuts or chocolate chips, gently fold them into the batter until evenly distributed.

    Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
