Brie-Stuffed Turkey Meatballs Recipe

    • 1 pound ground turkey
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1 cup marinara sauce
    • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)


    Preheat the oven:

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the meatball mixture:

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

    Form the meatballs:

    Take a small amount of the turkey mixture (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Place a cube of Brie cheese in the center, then wrap the turkey mixture around the cheese, forming a meatball. Ensure the cheese is completely enclosed.

    Arrange the meatballs:

    Place the stuffed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.

    Brush with egg wash:

    Brush each meatball with the beaten egg. This will give them a nice golden color when baked.

    Bake in the oven:

    Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

    Warm the marinara sauce:

    While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.


    Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven. Spoon some warm marinara sauce over the meatballs and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
