Delicious Peach Crisp Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    Topping:

    • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or almonds)
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

    Instructions:

    Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a baking dish (9×13 inches or similar size) with butter or cooking spray.

    Prepare the Peaches:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gently toss until the peaches are evenly coated. Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 minutes, letting the flavors meld.

    Transfer to Baking Dish:

Spread the peach mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

    Make the Topping:

In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and chopped nuts.

Add the cold, cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to combine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Add Topping to Peaches:

Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the peaches in the baking dish, covering them completely.

    Bake:

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown, and the peach filling is bubbly.

    Serve:

Remove the peach crisp from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

    Enjoy:

Enjoy the delicious peach crisp with its perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors, crunchy topping, and juicy peach filling!

This Peach Crisp is a delightful dessert that captures the essence of ripe peaches in a comforting and easy-to-make treat.
