Delicious Seasoned Pretzels Recipe

    • 1 pound (450g) mini pretzels
    • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
    • 1 packet (1 ounce or 28g) ranch dressing mix
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)
    • Salt, to taste
    • Optional: 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast for a cheesy twist


    Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

    In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill weed, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir until well combined.

    Place the mini pretzels in a large mixing bowl. Pour the seasoned butter mixture over the pretzels, tossing gently to coat them evenly. You can also add the grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast at this stage if desired, tossing to coat.

    Spread the seasoned pretzels evenly onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes, until the pretzels are crisp and golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

    Remove the pretzels from the oven and sprinkle with additional salt to taste, if desired. Allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet.
