Feta And Spinach Frittata Recipe

    • 6 large eggs
    • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
    • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
    • Cooking spray or additional olive oil for greasing the pan

    Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Saute Vegetables:

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onions and cook until they become translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Whisk Eggs:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.

    Combine Ingredients:

Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet.

Stir gently to ensure even distribution of ingredients.

Allow the eggs to set around the edges.

    Add Feta:

Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese evenly over the frittata.

    Bake in the Oven:

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the frittata is set in the center and the edges are golden brown.

    Broil (Optional):

If you want to brown the top further, you can turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Once the frittata is cooked through and has a golden top, remove it from the oven.

Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

    Garnish (Optional):

Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for an extra burst of flavor.

Enjoy your delicious Feta and Spinach Frittata!

It makes for a wonderful breakfast, brunch, or even a light dinner.
