Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Brownies Recipe

    • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
    • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

    Preparing the Batter:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.

Stir in the sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Mix in the vanilla extract.

    Combining Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

    Adding Peanut Butter Layer:

In a small saucepan, gently warm the peanut butter over low heat until it becomes smooth and pourable.

Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.

Drizzle the melted peanut butter evenly over the batter.

Spoon the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter layer.

    Swirling Layers:

Use a spatula or a knife to swirl the layers together, creating a marbled effect.

Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

    Cutting and Serving:

Once cooled, cut into squares or rectangles.

Serve and enjoy the rich and fudgy peanut butter cup brownies!
