Quick And Easy Guacamole Recipe

    • 3 ripe avocados
    • 1 small onion, finely diced
    • 1-2 tomatoes, diced
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 lime, juiced
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for some heat)
    • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

    Prepare the Avocados:

Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

    Mash the Avocados:

Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired consistency. Some people prefer chunky guacamole, while others like it smooth.

    Add the Vegetables:

Add the finely diced onion, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic to the mashed avocados.

Squeeze the juice of one lime into the bowl to add a bright, citrusy flavor. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) over the mixture.

    Mix Well:

Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as you want to maintain some texture.

    Adjust Seasoning:

Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. Add more salt, lime juice, or pepper if needed.

    Add Cilantro:

Fold in the chopped cilantro for a burst of fresh flavor.

    Serve Immediately:

Guacamole is best served fresh. Enjoy it immediately with tortilla chips, as a topping for tacos, or alongside your favorite dishes.

    Storage Tip:

If you need to store leftover guacamole, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize air exposure and preserve its color. Refrigerate for a short time, as guacamole tends to oxidize and turn brown over time.

This quick and easy guacamole is perfect for parties, snacks, or as a side dish. Feel free to customize it by adding diced jalapeños, red pepper flakes, or additional herbs according to your taste preferences.
