    For the Biscuits:

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
    • 1 cup buttermilk

    For the Garlic Butter Topping:

    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • Pinch of salt

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

Pour in the buttermilk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the dough should be sticky.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 10-12 biscuits.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

While the biscuits are baking, prepare the garlic butter topping.

In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, dried parsley flakes, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.

As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the tops generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Allow the biscuits to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits warm!
