    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes
    • 4 ounces cream cheese, cold and cut into small cubes
    • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 3/4 cup buttermilk, cold
    • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional, for added flavor)


    Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients:

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    Add Butter and Cream Cheese:

    Add the cold, cubed butter and cream cheese to the dry ingredients.

    Using a biscuit cutter or a round glass, cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.


    Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.

    Serve Warm:

    Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.

    Serve them warm.
