    • 2 cans (5 oz each) of chunk light tuna in water, drained
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pickles or relish for added crunch

    Prepare Tuna:

Open and drain the cans of tuna.

Transfer the tuna to a mixing bowl and use a fork to break it into small, bite-sized chunks.

    Mix Dressing:

In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.

Whisk together until well blended, creating a creamy dressing.

    Combine Ingredients:

Add the creamy dressing to the tuna and gently fold them together.

Add chopped red onion, celery, parsley, and optional pickles or relish.

Mix all ingredients until well combined.

Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the mixture for a hint of brightness.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Stir the ingredients again, ensuring an even distribution of flavors.

    Chill (Optional):

For enhanced flavor, cover the tuna salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Once chilled (if desired), give the tuna salad a final gentle stir.

Serve on a bed of lettuce, in a sandwich, or with crackers.

    Garnish (Optional):

Garnish with additional chopped parsley or a lemon wedge for a decorative touch.
