    Ingredients:

    For the Cake:

    • 1 cup whole milk

    For the Whipped Cream Topping:

    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish or cake pan.

    2. Prepare the Cake Batter:

    In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
