Memorial Day on Miami Beach means the Air & Sea Show.
The Hyundai Air & Sea Show, a Memorial Day tradition, returned to Miami Beach Saturday and Sunday.
Between 11th and 14th streets in South Beach's Lummus Park, the event shows military personnel and top-notch technology and equipment from five branches of the US military.
Erik Thomas, Hyundai's head of experience and multicultural marketing, said, "This is our seventh year, and we love it." It's a chance for us to pause, reflect, recollect, and express gratitude to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
This event is ideal. On a personal level, I appreciate seeing more people return to live events every year since COVID-19.
Modern military aircraft, Cigarette Offshore powerboat racing, ThunderCats boat races, and extreme water sports with professional jet skiers are featured at the event.
"There is no better time than Memorial Day weekend to thank the men and women of our military, our first responders, and those who gave their lives for our freedom."
Saturday's U.S. Army SaluteFest features Natti Natasha, Chris Janson, a drone light show, and fireworks.
Big & Rich, U.S. military bands, and fireworks perform Sunday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
